Dub Sharma

Siddharth Sharma, mostly known as Dub Sharma, is a music composer and producer from India, producing music for films, TV, and radio since 2008.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience with the words and the sounds of India, Dub Sharma is known for blending the sounds of the underground with the overground.

He's a BBC Introducing artist of 2010 and made it to HT top 30 under 30 for his work in the field of music.

He became widely known after producing the popular 'Apna Time Aayega' featuring Ranveer Singh and written by DIVINE, 'Azadi' featuring DIVINE and the track 'Jingostan' written, performed and produced by Dub Sharma for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy in 2019.

In 2009, while studying audio engineering he started his professionally arranging and producing music for films. In 2010, he got playlisted for the first time on BBC Asian Network's Friction Show presented by Bobby Friction and became a BBC Introducing Artist later that year.

He started working as a music producer for several Indian Movies and TV shows. He started getting noticed after being featured on the famous found sound show MTV Sound Trippin' season 1 (2012), in which he produced the track 'Tung Tung' featuring Nooran Sisters. His music was later featured on Fox SoundTrek and Dewarists.

Over the years, he produced music for multiple reputed music directors from the Indian Film Industry and also made music for many advertising campaigns.

He got his first major break in 2019 with the release of his music in Zoya Akhtar's movie Gully Boy. In 2021, he produced the track ‘Todun Taak’ featuring D'Evil for Farhan Akhtar’s and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's film Toofaan. Later, more of his music was also featured on OTT platforms.
